You also agree that any dealings you have with such third party site operators shall be on the terms and conditions (if any) of the third party operator and you hereby waive any claim you might have against us with respect to such sites. From time to time third parties may link to our site without our express consent or knowledge. RESTRICTIONS ON USE OF MATERIALS

This site is owned and operated by MB group. No material from any web site owned, operated, licensed, or controlled by UK Backdrops and Drapes may be copied, reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, transmitted, or distributed in any way, without our express written permission.You may download one copy of the materials displayed on the site on any single computer for your personal, non-commercial home use only, provided you keep intact all copyright and other proprietary notices. Modification of the materials or use of the materials for any other purpose is a violation of Backdrops and Drapes' copyright and other proprietary rights. All trademarks, service marks, and trade names are proprietary to Backdrops and Drapes and its associates.

In the event you download any material from the site, the material, including any software, files, images, graphics or text are licensed to you by Backdrops and Drapes. Backdrops and Drapes does not transfer title to such material to you. You own the medium on which the material is recorded, but Backdrops and Drapes retains full and complete title to the material at all times, and all intellectual property rights therein. You may not redistribute, sell, de-compile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or otherwise reduce any software contained in the material to eye-readable form.

INTERPRETATION

1.1 In these Conditions the following words shall have the meanings set opposite them:
"Carrier" means and (unless the context requires otherwise) includes the carriers servants agents and any person or persons carrying goods on our behalf under any contract of carriage.

"Delivery terms" all our good sold are shipped using a 3-5 day service unless stated otherwise. All purchases must be ordered by 12 noon to enable the item to be shipped same day. 

Any order over £1000, with the 48hr delivery option will incur an extra 2 day handling time for us to prep the order.

"Charges" means our charges for supplying and, where appropriate installing/hiring and/or maintaining the goods. Please see below our payment terms.
"Confirmation of Order" means when we confirm our acceptance of your Order orally or in writing (whether electronically or otherwise).
"Contract" the contract made between you and us for the purchase or hire of goods incorporating these Conditions.
"Delivery" means our delivery of the Goods to the address you have stipulated in the Order/hire or our notifying you that the Goods are available for collection.
"Goods" means the article(s) that we agree to supply to you pursuant to an Order.
"Order" means your request for us to supply you with Goods in consideration of the Charges, which you make by either completing a telephone order or otherwise requesting the goods that you require.
"We", "us" "our" means Backdrops and Drapes.
"You", "your" means the person firm or corporation that places an Order with us.

Transport & Logistics - Backdrops and Drapes cannot be held responsible for delays due to accident, road repair or fire.

PAYMENTS

MAIN POINTS

(1) All deposits are non-refundable unless stated otherwise.

(2) On Confirming any event, a request of 20% is required. Balance to be paid on completion of the event on the day. We do not have a credit facility.

(3) All work carried out are under contract, if you have not received a contract from ourselves then please call our office immediately. Without a contract we reserve the right to cancel all dealings with the client.

(4) If in the event of a cancellation:

Within 60 Days - Full deposit refunded

Within 30 Days - 50% deposit refund

Within 14 Days - Loss of deposit

Within 7 Days - 50% Cancellation fee of the outstanding balance

Backdrops and Drapes reserves the right to cancel any event to whom infringes any health & safety regulations.

Cash, BACS transfer and credit/debit cards are all acceptable methods of payment. 3% charge for credit card payments.

Payment terms must be agreed to before commencement of any contractual obligation and booking whether that be by email or verbal booking over the telephone. Payment default or failure AFTER the event will result in extra bank & waiting time charges. Any commission owed to agents will NOT be paid if payment is over 14 days late. 

Our Terms are payment on completion of the event ON the day. All goods remain the property of Backdrops and Drapes until paid for in full. Monies that remains outstanding by the due date will incur late payment interest at the rate of 2% of the outstanding balance until such time as the balance is paid in full and final settlement. We reserve the right to seek recovery of any monies remaining unpaid sixty days from the date of invoice via collection Agencies and/or through the Small Claims Court in the event that the outstanding balance does not exceed £3000. In such circumstances, you shall be liable for any and all additional administrative and/or court costs.

Returned cheques will incur a £35 charge to cover banking fees and administrative costs. In an instance of a second Returned cheque, we reserve the right to terminate the arrangement and, if agreed to, we shall insist on future cash transactions only. Consequently, all bookings and/or transactions and agreements entered into will cease with immediate effect until such time as any and all outstanding monies are recovered in full.

These terms and conditions form part of the Agreement between the Client and ourselves "backdrops and drapes". On ordering you would be requested to read our terms and conditions. Your accessing of this website and/or undertaking of an Agreement indicates your understanding, agreement to and acceptance, of the Disclaimer Notice and the full Terms and Conditions contained herein. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
